Mianyang Xinchen Power Machinery Co., Ltd (Xinchen Power for short) was established in May of 1998, which is a sino-foreign joint venture composed of Huachen Automotive Group Holding Co., Ltd, Wuliangye Group Co., Ltd., and the like. It is winner of National Labor Award, pilot enterprise in Sichuan Province for building innovation-oriented enterprises, Sichuan Province high-tech industry demonstration enterprise, and one of 25 "ten billion enterprises" in Sichuan Province with key fostering.

 

Xinchen Power is located in China Science and Technology City (Mianyang), and is 90 kilometers adjacent to Chengdu, the provincial capital. It is equipped with 700 employees and registered capital of 200 million yuan.

 

Xinchen Power constructs "high-tech, more variety and wide range" product development, manufacturing and sales platform, it is the core engine enterprise of Huachen Group, has formed three series of "light-duty gasoline, light diesel oil and small delivery capacity" including 25 types of engine products, wherein 8 types of engine products fill domestic gaps with delivery capacity covering 1.0-3.0L and power covering 38-125kW, all products are provided with complete independent intellectual property rights, and all products meet Euro Ⅲ emission levels, and are upgraded and improved to Europe IV.

 

Xinchen Power passed TS16949 Quality System Certification and ISO10012: 2003 international measurement system certification, and is provided with state validated enterprise technical centers and national accredited laboratories, NVH project obtained national special project support, the new diesel car engines are included in the national "863" plan, and DK4 engine received "China Heart" 2008 Top Ten Engines. It establishes strategic partnership with DELPHI, FEV, AVL, BOSCH and other companies, integrates international standards, and continuously develops safety, environmental protection and energy-saving new products. Market holdings exceed more than 1.6 million units, including 700 thousand 491Q series gasoline units, its quality achieved the first place all over the country for 16 consecutive years, and domestic market share of the same model achieved 40%.

 

Xinchen Power successfully created four national first places: No. 1 domestic production and sales of 491Q series gasoline engines, No. 1 domestic independent R & D achievement commercialization, No. 1 domestic product reputation and No. 1 domestic business quality in the industry.

 

During "Eleventh Five-Year" period, Xinchen Power plans to invest 1 billion yuan to form the annual production ability of 300,000 engines, and it plans to enter global engine technology innovation system and procurement system, and become the largest light vehicle engine research, development and manufacturing base in western China.
